Slim Saal aka Salone Chris Brown real name Abubakarr Saal, is a Model, dancer and Hip Hop artist with a huge YouTube presence of more subscribers who went viral with the official music video of his song “Elevate” .

Speaking of humble beginnings, Slim Saal aka Salone Chris Brown. Was born in Sierra Leone raised in Freetown, (central). He attend the Tabernacle primary school and  later attend the Beheshti Islamic sec school.

Slim Saal is the elder brother of five in his family. He also worked part-time at the bakery with his Dad, before his music career exploded. Along with his growing music career, he has enjoyed performing spoken-word poetry and has been a traveling motivational speaker.

What do you want people to get from your music & Housemates Salone-Season 3?

I want people to feel like they can be in my shoes when they listen to my music. I want them to feel as though their dreams are also within arms reach. I want them to feel like we are family, someone they can relate to, literally and figuratively.

My current project is a story of the journey so far. From being an overnight janitor to now. It means anything’s possible. we as humans are solely responsible for our life’s outcome. 

For new listeners, what song of yours would you pick as an introduction to you as an artist?

 I would want them to listen to “Bad People” I put a very deep message inside of a hit melody. If they don’t want to listen to the words they’ll enjoy it, if they do, it will change their outlook on life.

Tell us a bit about your work and passions OUTSIDE of music…

Outside of music my passion lies behind motivating others. I started off with poetry and motivational speaking so, in my spare time, I’m always thinking of ways to motivate others to chase their dream the same way I’m chasing mine. Other than that, I still hit the gym frequently and do my workout every single day.
